Unexplored beauty of Pakistan

THE UNEXPLORED BEAUTY OF PAKISTAN: SEEN THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA.

Pakistan has been suffering through the war of terrorism and misled leadership for years now. Many governments came and went away without even laying a finger on the fact that the country was suffering through a huge backlash. It doesn’t only affect tourism but other sectors have also suffered at the hand of poor leadership and corruption. The uprisings and tensions of the country created a negative image of Pakistan across the world. Pakistan tourism sector has suffered the most over the years, due to terrorism and weak safety measure, there was a great backlash regarding foreign tourists and not just that the residents of Pakistan were scared of safety measures like poor roads and life threatening dangerous illegal activities which stops them to visit the tourists sites.

In the midst of all this, most of us forgot that Pakistan is so rich in natural beauty and the landscapes in the region are no less than a vision of a paradise.Once all that fear evaporated, Pakistan’s tourism sector did flourish. Gilgit-Baltistan, Hunza valley and Swat valley is the heart of tourism in Pakistan and in the past few years, many tourism companies have been established and they have worked hard, bringing phenomenal growth regarding tourism in Pakistan. Even though the tourism industry faced backlash,

many tour operators like Rehman Travels, Intrepid Travel, Crossroads Adventure, and Hunza Explorer continued to play their part and encourage tourism throughout the country. Not only tourist companies but social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and youtube also played an important role to promote tourism in Pakistan by showing the beautiful sites of Pakistan and help the tourism service providers in focusing on the best practices through feedback they get from tourists and public through social media. Social media is considered to be an important strategy in order to market not only tourism but every market. Social interaction through Facebook has opened new horizons of seek information from users regarding their potential trip or to generate the content.Globally it is an increasing trend of relying on social media as an important tool to communicate and interact with potential tourist. World is evolving on a very fast pace. Traditional communication behavior, marketing, messaging and advertising trends are changing more rapidly than how we tell our story. By adopting the smart tactics of marketing through social media, organizations are more successful in creating a feeling of trust among their consumers, consequently resulting in an increased sale

Pakistan was ranked 47 out of 200 countries in an analysis of the World Travel and Tourism Council's (WTTC) growth which said, "If the country becomes more peaceful, visitor numbers are predicted to rise". Pakistan is highly attractive tourist excitement with bewitching beauty of landscape, rich and varied culture, historical heritage and places of religious significance. Snow-capped mountains and scenic beauty of Swat, Hunza, Neelam Valley, Kalash Valley, Murree Hills and Naran are regarded as earthly paradise.Coastal areas, mesmerizing deserts, archaeological and different religious places of Buddhism, Sikhism, Hinduism in addition of famous Muslim saints are marvelous tourist attractions scattered all over Pakistan.

Tourism stimulates GDP growth of the country. In 2018, more than Mohenjo-daro, Harappa, Badshahi Masjid, Shalimar Gardens, Tomb of Jahangir and the Lahore Fort it also represents the history of Mughal Architecture. Pakistan is home to several mountain peaks over 7000 m, which draw adventurers and mountaineers from around the world, especially K2. Travel and tourism currently contribute 7.4 % to the GDP of Pakistan. It increases international trade and commerce. In terms of foreign direct investment, tourism and hospitality are the second fastest growing industries. It is also one country like China, the United Kingdom and the United States etc explored the beauty of Pakistan. The most popular sites to visit in Pakistan include its cultural and religious places like 1,900,035 tourists from different of the largest sources to generate employment opportunities.

After the uprising of tourism in Pakistan many vloggers and travelers from different countries visited and explored the beauty of Pakistan, not only international travelers but Pakistani travelers also explored the beauty and spread the beauty of Pakistan across the world by their content they upload it on different social media platforms.

I’ve also traveled to the northern areas of Pakistan and can’t control myself from admiring the beauty of Nanga Parbat, Hunza Valley, and Swat Valley. We passed through several villages and went on hiking;the People there always welcomed us with big smiles on their faces. I felt so fortunate to have a view of imposing snow-capped peaks at the same time. I was overwhelmed by a feeling of how incredible Pakistan is! What is needed is to spread a positive and good image of Pakistan and its people through social media. I would reiterate my advice: don't take my word for it, go visit Pakistan and see it for yourself.
