Does banning cars is the only solution that we have?

  Since several years, Karachi's climate has greatly deteriorated. Human beings are severely affected by it. Increasing pollution is causing climate change. Almost everyone in Karachi has a personal car. Rarely do they use local transportation. Local transportation is the only mode of transportation for the lower classes. It is true that many city dwellers and city workers use their own vehicles, and elderly people in particular, they tire easily. The pollution caused by cars to our environment and surroundings is beyond dispute. A greater number of cars results in more noise and smoke. Due to the car's smoke, smog is created in the winters that can seriously harm a person's health. Lungs suffer greatly from it. Local transit services should be encouraged, and the city should ban personal cars. Because of poor bus mechanics, accidents, and other factors many people do not use local transportation. As a result, local transportation is considered unsafe. Karachi could benefit from investments in local transportation the way Lahore has. People in Lahore use the Metro bus, orange train & other public transportation to get around the city. The most common methods of transportation to university are speedo, airlift, and Swvl. Karachi should promote this as well. It is necessary to prevent the use of personal cars in Karachi and to promote local transportation, and here are the reasons; 

• In Pakistan, as in many other countries, there should also be a facility for students to use bicycles. Moreover, cycling is scientifically proven to be good for one's health, and it also produces no carbon emissions, so it does not harm the environment. 

• It is no secret that cars contribute most to the world's pollution. Cars emit deadly gases that cause illnesses like lung cancer. This type of illness causes many deaths.

• Today, cars are the biggest killer on our roads. Accidents kill many pedestrians every day in Karachi.

• The noise from cars is unbearable. In a city, it is hard to focus on work and noise can adversely affect a person's health. 

• A ban on cars in Karachi improves air quality. 

• Bicycles and pedestrians will have more room. 

• This would reduce the level of noise 

• There will be a reduction in light pollution in Karachi. 

• Climate change could be slowed by it. 

• The greenery in Karachi would increase to a greater extent. 

A car ban could increase safety on the roads. Reduced accident rate. There should be a ban on cars in Karachi, so that those who live there would be able to walk on the road without fear of being hurt in an accident or ill from pollution. Governments should promote local transportation and ban too many personal cars so people will not have fear of going on them. We need to drive less and should walk and ride more. We may end up with more problems because of cars than we solve if we don't.
